October Date Confirmed For ‘How To Train Your Dragon’

Dreamworks has confirmed an October 15th release date for ‘How To Train Your Dragon‘ on Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack. Yes, a Friday!

This is not unusual for the studio, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 2 were also released on weekends if I am not mistaken. A press release/studio announcement has yet to happen, but we will update you when it does. The release date however, is 100% accurate.

    When is the 3D Blu ray version coming out I wonder? Also, why is it so hard to convert movies which were 3D in movie theaters to Blu ray 3D?

    I realize that this technology is in its early stages, but if more 3D products come out, more people will buy 3D displays!

    A 3D version will definitely be coming, but probably not on the same date. It is a perfect way to get customers to double-dip or perhaps it will be exclusive to a specific brand.

    More titles will be out retail this Christmas, but for the moment more and more will be exclusive unfortunately.
