The colors from the original Blu-ray release were not accurate, they were pushed. They also vary in color due to specific scenes and lighting. The movie is naturally darker, while the original Blu-ray release had a high contrast to make it ‘leap’ off the screen.

Why does the new release seem to have a tint of yellow to it, where the old one doesn’t – as in whites look like white? And not a yellow, mustard colour?

Is this accurate?
